Once upon a time in history, the despised drop of water carrying a cargo of 23 chromosomes, (of which one would eventually define its gender) races and wins against a formidable army of co-runners of around 300 million others. Finally entering the mother's womb, it gets merged with the egg which also coincidentally has a cargo of 23 chromosomes attached to it.
The amalgamation of the chromosomes laid the foundation of a single cell in
the mother’s womb. A helpless thing in need of protection. Smaller than a grain
of salt. This
cell then divided, becoming two cells and grows into the same size as the first one. Then they divided and became four. Then
eight, then 16 cells and so on and so forth. It grew 100 billion times larger than the initial cell, and 6 billion times heavier, while at the same time constantly undergoing continuous change and growing into different shapes.
Somewhere during this process, approx... around 120 days into the act of dividing, forming, growing; something miraculous happens to the combination of the cells now jointly called as body. A SOUL is blown into it and LO! that's how yours truly author technically came into existence, though, it took 5 more months before I could see the light of the day that the beautiful world had to offer.
Thanks to The Merciful Lord of all creation, I was made a winner from seemingly impossible situations by warding off the challenges of stiff competition (300 million!) and the possibility of being eliminated at every step (fetal death, surviving 9 months, etc.).
The discovery sessions which started with the race while entering the womb, has taught me an important lesson, i.e. man comes into this world not by choice, but by chance given by Providence and it is no secret that one day this boon of life will come to an end when we finally kick the bucket.
Since we are brought to life from nothingness against all odds, it can be deduced that there has to be a purpose behind it. To understand this, we have been gifted with two valuables known as INTELLECT and FREEWILL.
The journey which started from a lowly origin has now got to continuously tread the road of self-actualization through the apt use of our intellect and freewill to decide on what to choose from the world full of choices of every color.
This relentless search for truth and the purpose of our existence is what life is all about. Hence the saying 'LIFE IS NOT A STATE OF BEING, BUT IT IS A PROCESS OF BECOMING', becoming more, becoming better, striving to reach
that state of perfect connection with our destiny, just like how a salmon travels hundreds of miles out to sea before returning to its roots.
The Quest begins...
